now, for those who know, then just skip this and go clean your dildo collection...for those who don't then, sit down...

the Saint was a legendary club in the east village that at one time was a planetarium,  but luckily some fags bought it and turned it into an incredible disco. there, every spring, men from around the world would congregate for a ritual that was called THE BLACK PARTY that lasted for up to sometimes three days. you could check your clothes in the locker room when you walked in, watch incredible shows like, men getting fucked by boa constrictors, or dance all day and actually watch the sun rise, then go into the galaxy as the planetarium/light show would take you into space...but usually, all anyone cared about was Uranus. it was like nothing else ever, and will never be the same again, but my friend Steven Pevner  who now runs the Saint at Large and his right hand man Mike Peyton as well as a host of others are keeping the Rites alive, and every March, carry on the tradition of, well, carrying on...

they are my family, as i was blessed and lucky enough to have shot the invite one year, which is an honor bestowed to mavericks like Robert Mapplethorpe, Aaron Cobbett, and this years incredible artwork is by two-time invite artist, REX REXWERK.COM  so run, don't walk, to the Greatest show/party/sex party in the world...The Black Party.
